- This New American restaurant is bordered by the foliage of Central Park, and offers upscale standards in an intimate, soft-lit interior. People watching from the outside sidewalk tables is also a big draw. Appetizers such as sea urchin and foie gras are excellent. Main courses include dishes like New York strip steak, roast prime rib of lamb in lavender glaze, seared sea scallops with lobster rice, and roast Cornish hen with sweet garlic mashed potatoes. Also be sure to save room for the fabulous desserts.
