Description:
- The Australian rests in a bad Midtown location where bar names change annually. Hopefully, it will last longer. Fair dink'em. It's worth a visit when trying to avoid Times Square and looking for something different in Midtown. There are no boxing kangaroos or didgeridoos to make the Australian distinctly Australian. Rather the Aussie brews, like Cooper's, and foods, like meat pies and tiger prawns, provide the connection to the land of Oz. The long wooden bar offers ample stools, but a tight standing area when busy, so run for the tables in the back and be sure to say G'Day.
