Big Nick's Burger and Pizza joint

Description:

  • Great pizzas and big burgers are the stars at this terrific but crowded neighborhood spot. The decor is fresh from the 1950s, with linoleum floors and lots of vinyl. Try a Madrid Burger (feta cheese, black olives and pimento) or a Pizza Burger. The pizzas are delicious as well; Canadian bacon, pineapple, chicken and salad are favorite toppings. Portions are enormous, but save room for at least a spoonful of the bulging banana split dessert. Service is efficient and speedy.

    It's Ok

  • Normal cafe, with tons of food on the menu. How can any of it be outstanding? Waitress named Jon was great, i had a jerk waiter late one night. He won't last, I left him a $1 tip...

  • I give them four stars because their food is delicious but its very pricy. A shake and a burger came out to $22 dollars.

Message from Big Nick's Burger and Pizza joint

New York's west side - compulsive noshers, weekend partyfolk, mellow-groovy happyfolk, dedicated loners, lovers after the afterglow...all of us know, deep down in our stomachs, that the pizza joints emergency pizza service fulfills a very human - and often desperate need. When sudden hunger strikes, you gotta eat. Every night of the week, the pizza joint's understanding management keeps the ovens hot and the delivery staff running, within the pizza joint's neighborhood, delivery is free. The chef stands ready to pile on the mushrooms and anchovies, or to tempt the truly distraught with a catalog of exotic variations - western pizza, chili pizza, beefburger pizza, and many more. Nick, the restaurants worldly wise owner, has seen everything: you needn't hesitate to confide your ultimate pizza fantasy, be it pizza with clam sauce or olives and feta cheese. A devoted pizza connoisseur
