- Located atop the East Village, Café Deville mixes between cool French café and lame nightlife spot. The French cuisine is good and reasonably priced. Plus there's a raw bar during dinner. The wine and cocktail selection is excellent. Weekend brunch can be great, and there's also a decent prix fixe from 4-7p. Open and airy, in warmer weather sidewalk seating is available. The problem with Café Deville is the nightlife scene. Bar Bleu is Deville's downstairs lounge. DJs spin at night. The nightlife scene blows because of lame door policies and covers.
