NileGuide Expert Says:
A tourist-friendly version of the classic New York deli experience (complete with grumpy waiters), this deli sells giant sandwiches filled with mounds of corned beef and pastrami served in a cramped space bedecked with celebrity headshots.
Description:
- This New York classic deli is loud, chaotic and expensive. However, for more than 60 years it has successfully served gargantuan sandwiches to countless residents and tourists looking for an authentic taste of New York Jewish culture. Sandwiches are on the expensive side, but you will surely not go away hungry. The subway-style seating (with strangers, in other words) bothers some customers, but most just go with the flow. Cash only.
