Description:
- The German owner of this colorful throwback to the Old Country in Queens makes all of her guests feel at home. Red drapes, copper mirrors, and stuffed birds adorn the interesting restaurant and bar, where German food and beer are the main focus. Roasts of pork, beef, veal and poultry, as well as the ever-popular wursts and Sauerbraten are featured menu items. The Pickled Herring is also popular, as are such beers as Beck's, Spaten and Warsteiner.
