• Since 1991, this East Village rock bar called Continental has been introducing little known groups, then watching as some of their careers take off. They also occasionally feature bigger rock names. Just a few of the bands that have appeared here include the Lunachicks, Iggy Pop and Guns & Roses. With up to five bands performing every night of the week, you will encounter some not to your taste, but every so often great musicians come along and makes time spent here a treat.
