Description:
- The interior makes this down-home East Village restaurant even more inviting. This is decidedly not a health food restaurant, and its specialties include meatloaf, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. Everything is cooked the way it used to be, before people became concerned with things like heart disease and diabetes. But enjoyed as a rare treat, it probably will not have any permanent consequences. There is fresh lemonade in the summer, and giant cookies for dessert. Cash only.
