Manhattan Bistro - New York City

  • Description:

    • This lovely, understated bistro serves as an oasis in the middle of ultra-trendy Soho. While there is finer and more expensive food to be found nearby, Manhattan Bistro will certainly be the spot to be hit by tired shoppers. It features such standard dishes as salmon tartare and Steak Frites. The dining room is small, but it is not usually overcrowded. Reportedly, the ghost of a Colonial era murder victim haunts the building.

    Message from Manhattan Bistro

Manhattan Bistro is housed in the oldest building on Spring Street, built in 1850, in the heart of SOHO. This charming European-American Bistro is dimly lit and covered with gorgeous oil paintings on its interior for a romantic evening or a simple cozy dinner. There is also a large open-air dining space with tables on Spring Street for those wanting to people watch or be closer to the bar. For those wanting to eat on the lighter side, Manhattan Bistro has delicious daily soup specials and a variety of fresh salads, including, of course, a phenomenal Greek salad. Tuna nicoise, Cioppino (seafood stew), lobster ravioli, seafood linguini, and an excellent rack of lamb are just a few of the choices that will leave your mouth watering. Enjoy Sat-Sun brunch from 11:30AM-5:00PM or come by for their daily happy hour with half-price drinks and free appetizers!
