- After his success with French brasserie fare at Balthazar and Pastis, restaurateur Keith McNally turns to rustic Italian fare at this West Village trattoria. Chef Jody Williams creates dishes from all 20 regions of Italy, complemented by a wine list culled from all over the country as well, and a selection of specialty cocktails. The fried artichokes and fritto misto have earned special praise, as have breakfast/brunch dishes such as ricotta fritters, crespelle (Italian crepes) and baked eggs.
