Moustache is cash only. The original branch of the restaurant is located at 90 Bedford Street near Barrow Street, in the West Village. The East Harlem branch is at 1621 Lexington Avenue, on the corner of East 102nd Street.

  • Description:

    • This quirkily named mini-chain (there are three Manhattan locations: the original West Village spot, this East Village site, and East Harlem) offers up what some say is the city's best Middle Eastern fare. The specialty here is pitza (pizza baked on pita bread), and it comes in several delicious varieties, such as chicken and roasted pepper, leek-and-scallion or ground lamb. Other great options include spinach and cheese pie, spicy lamb sausage with onion, tomato and tahini, and staples like hummus or babaghanouj.
