Description:
- This lively place near the Theater District serves authentic Russian food, tea and vodka. Despite its name, there are many more vodkas to choose from (more than 20 in all) than there are types of tea. Borscht and blinis are favorites here. Many of the vodkas are handmade by the owners with a variety of flavorings. A prix fixe lunch and dinner are also available. This cozy restaurant is softly lit and rather romantic, but if you are allergic to cigar smoke avoid the bar area.

We go here at least once a year when we go to the theater in nyc. The caviar and salmon and blini dishes are great, but what we really love is the great assortment of infused vodkas.
