This charming West Village spot is perfect for an intimate dinner or sharing with a few friends--the small plates include a delicious selection of spreads with warm pita triangles and an out-of-this-world moussaka with sauteed eggplant and prunes.

  • Description:

    • Like its counterparts, Snack Taverna is all about wholesome Greek cooking. The place seats 50 and has its walls dotted with pretty countryside pictures of Greece. The staff are courteous and spare no effort in accommodating the guests. The menu comprises succulent dishes of taramosalata, roasted red beet salad, crispy cod cakes, lamb souvlaki, sausages, and desserts of Monouri cheese custard and rice pudding. A refreshing array of taste-before-you-order Greek wines are served too. Snack Taverna makes for a delicious eatery in West Village.
