Verde on smith is the marrying of Italian traditional cooking with a contemporary twist and a modern setting. Cono Morena was born in Salerno, Italy. He moved to New York in 1968 where he began his career in restaurant management. In 1985, he opened his first restaurant, Primadonna, located in Forest Hills, Queens. Verde is a result of over 35 years experience as a chef, manager and restaurant owner in New York.
