Description:

  • Bodies the Exhibition in New York City unveils the many complex systems of organs and tissues that drive every aspect of our daily lives and unite us all as humans. Featuring over 200 specimens consisting of whole-bodies and individual organs that have been meticulously dissected and preserved through an innovative process. Bodies the Exhibition will enlighten, captivate, fascinate and inspire.

Bodies the Exhibition offers a fascinating look into the human body. Unlike biology and anatomy models and diagrams, at Bodies you get to peer at real 3-Dimensional human bodies that have been preserved for the NYC exhibition. It is a field trip destination like no other.

Take a look inside your human self, to better understand how your intricate and captivating body works, and how you can be more informed about your own health. Bodies New York allows people of all ages access to sights and knowledge normally reserved only for medical professionals.

There are nine galleries to explore ranging from the skeletal system to the reproductive system. These include:

    Muscular System:
Muscles give the body much of its individual shape and generate heat to help maintain its optimal temperature.

    Nervous System:
The brain and spinal cord make up the central nervous system. All the nerves that branch from the brain and spinal cord are known as the peripheral nervous system. Together these systems monitor and manage every activity of the body.

    Circulatory System:
The adult circulatory system is made up of the heart and one hundred thousand miles (161,000 kilometers) of blood vessels. One of the largest of these blood vessels, the aorta and its branches, supplies oxygenated blood to every part of the body.

Please note: Bodies...The Exhibition cannot independently verify the provenance of the human remains in this exhibit.
