Caumsett Mountain Bike Trail

• A variety of trails are available at this beautiful historic park. Trails are well-maintained providing a safe route easy enough for families with beginners and several routes designed for the more experienced biker. Sights along the trails include a large open meadow, a salt marsh, the historic dairy farm, the stately Marshall Field House, a freshwater pond and Long Island Sound. The 8-mile main park loop is very relaxing offering an opportunity to soak up the beautiful scenery, view the various species of visiting and resident birds and the opportunity to take a dip in Long Island Sound. Detailed trails maps are available at the park entrance. Notes of caution: High bluffs overlooking the Long Island Sound tend to be fragile. Also, the route is shared with hikers and horseback riders.
