    • The Clarence Fahnestock Campground rests within the 6,532 acre park offering 80 tent and RV sites; no electric hookups. This is a wonderful recreation area offering the basic amenities including flush toilets, hot showers, potable water, handicapped accessibility and picnicking. Special features include a wonderful mountain bike trail, bridle paths, a playground, hunting, a boat launch, rowboat rental, nature center, hiking trails, recreation programs and a wide selection of fishing waters. Fishing takes place in Canopus Lake, Pelton Pond, Duck Pond and John Allen Pond. Catches include bass, perch, pickerel and trout. In winter, visitors enjoy cross-country skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and camping (ends mid-December). Food service available in winter.
