It offers gallery shows, lectures, readings and occasional film screenings, as well as other events. The Institut, part of a worldwide network, also serves as a resource center. It has a large library of German writers and material about Germany, and offers material for use in German-language classes. Most of the gallery shows are free; times vary, so call for information.
