- McCarren Park previously known as the Greenpoint park, is spread over 35 acres of land covered with fields and paths. It is a great place to take the kids who will enjoy playing basketball, handball, football, kickball, soccer, baseball, bocce and tennis. The park has become a recreational place for the community. Locals enjoy playing around the Ericsson Playground which is complete with a jogging track, tennis courts, a soccer field, five baseball diamonds,more than enough space to keep you pumped. The McCarren Park Pool hosts live concerts and is another good place to check out.
