Description:

  • The New York Chinese Scholar's Garden, situated in Staten Island Botanical Garden, overlooks a beautiful pond and was renovated in 1994. A variety of plant life can be found in the marshy area surrounding the pond. This place is not manicured and hence gives out a very natural look. In addition to the varied plant life one can come across goldfish, ducks, turtles and black Australian swans. This is a good place to visit if you want to spend the day watching nature at its true best.
