Robert Moses State Park - Fire Island

• Robert Moses State Park has about five miles of ocean beach from which visitors can swim, surf or surf-fish. Anglers can also fish from piers. A day use boat basin can accommodate 40 boats. The park also has picnic areas and an 18-hole pitch-putt golf course.

  Visitors to the Robert Moses State Park enjoy a swimming beach, surf fishing, surfing, concession, pitch-putt golf, a marina, picnic area, showers, recreation programs and a children's playground.

  The golf course is a secluded short course that meanders through a maritime habitat. The course rests near Field #1, directly adjacent to the ocean. Minimum playing age is 10 with a guardian. The course is open April through November. Clubs are rented for a small fee. Course fees for the 18-hole course are very reasonable. It is suggested you call for hours of operation and the latest fees.

  Robert Moses State Park may be found at the end of Robert Moses Parkway and Ocean State Parkway nestled below Fire Island Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean.
