- Explore, play, be a firefighter, ride a boat, fish, act as an insect, and learn about animals at the Staten Island Children's Museum. Children have an opportunity to explore the world around them. Volunteers can help to do the chores around the museum and help maintaining it or tell stories. Get a hands on experience, it helps to discover the inherent curiosity in children that brings out the talents.
