Over 40 hectares of meticulously kept botanical gardens this is surely to be a perfect way to get away from the hustle and bustle of Clifton Hill and its surrounding areas. Located on the scenic Niagara Parkway and the Great Gorge it is just a short 10 minute drive north of Niagara Falls. At the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens you are able to take wonderful walks through the botanical gardens and see its beauty created way back from 1936. Since the botanical gardens were opened they are maintained by students at the School of Horticulture on the grounds. The gardens include vegetables, herbs, rocks and arboretum for shrubs and trees. The botanical gardens are set in the home of the Butterfly Conservatory where you can enjoy the beauty of perfect little butterflies roaming around the conservatory. After a long walk through the botanical gardens take a walk through the Butterfly Conservatory, the whole family will love it.
