Description:
- Designed by Spanish engineer Leonardo Torres Quevedo in 1913 and opened in 1916, Whirlpool Aero Car offers a fantastic view of Niagara's Whirlpool, the Gorge, and the Falls about a few miles to the south of the Falls. The round trip, in a suspended 40-passenger car held by six steel cables, is about a kilometer and takes ten minutes. The car is regularly modernized with the latest updates to avoid hazardous circumstances.
