- Located about 2.5 miles north of the Falls, this park offers a spectacular view of both the Giant Whirlpool on the Canadian side and the vicious rapids at the 90-degree bend in the Niagara River. The first is visible from the top of the Gorge; the other at the base following a 30-minute hike. The park's 109 acres feature biking trails, picnic tables, playground, fishing, and cross-country skiing in the winter. Other nearby state parks include Artpark, Fort Niagara State Park and Niagara Falls State Park.
