• In a little-frequented street close to Thiers train station, the Théâtre de la Cité  under the direction of Meyer Cohen brings life to the district by hosting shows of every imaginable variety. The packed programme features first-time productions, classic pieces and cabaret style shows (the comedian Noëlle Perna who started at the Bar des Oiseaux sometimes performs here), as well as concerts, dance and puppet shows (children's shows 2pm Wed). A range of reductions and special discounts are available. The theatre also offers drama lessons for both children and adults.
