Flo Brasserie

Description:

• This is the town's most bustling brasserie. In 1991, the Jean-Paul Bucher group, a French chain noted for its skill at restoring historic brasseries, bought the premises of a faded early-1900s restaurant near place Masséna and injected it with new life. The original frescoes cover the high ceilings. The place (which is affiliated with Brasserie Flo in Paris) is brisk, stylish, reasonably priced, and fun. The menu includes an array of grilled fish, choucroute Alsatian-style, steak with brandied pepper sauce, and fresh oysters and shellfish.
