Description:
- The little Pignes train is very picturesque and is an exciting way to travel. It usually has just one carriage and is delightfully old fashioned. A journey that'll take you through lots of little Provençal villages, the Nice-Digne trip lasts about three hours :this isn't one of those high speed French trains. Those who feel this might be a little too long might like to get off at Annot, an attractive village in the Lower Alps. This is a great outing for train enthusiasts or those with an adventurous spirit looking for a bit of nostalgia. There are usually four trains a day, going to and fro, all year round.
