What date is the Fete de Ste-Reparate is it this sunday or the 10th 0ctober. I will be in Nice for a week from the 6th 0ctober 2011.Merci.

It will be held on Sept 9th. It takes place in the Vielle Ville (Old Town). It starts off at 9 am in front of the City Hall where a procession carrying a statue of the saint accompanied by penitents go to the Cathedral of Ste Réparate for a special mass. The streets are very narrow so if you want to see anything or take pictures, you'll need to get there at least a half hour before. I recommend standing near the Opéra if you can't get closer. Afterward, don't forget to get the most famous ice cream in Nice at Fenochio's on Place Rosséti just across from the Cathedral.
