Nicosia is the capital of Cyprus. All the embassys and government offices are situated in Nicosia. Just for historic information, Nicosia is the only divided capital in the world after the Turkish invation on the island in 1974. Here in Cyprus we mostly use the Meditteranean kitchen. Also fresh fish is quite popullar. In most of the restaurants you can ask for fish meze or meat meze which cosists of 15 to 20 small dishes including starter, main course and dessert. Kali Orexi !!!

Well, like in all places around the world it all depends on how much you pay... You can get from junk food to good quality food though not Michelin starred. You can find from Italian,Sushi, Japanese, Greek, Traditional Cypriot as another one described, as well as small brasseries... One point is that you will not starve to death ! :)
