Getting There -- Nîmes has bus and train service from the rest of France and is near several autoroutes. It lies on the main rail line between Marseille and Bordeaux. Thirteen TGV trains arrive daily from Paris's Gare de Lyon; the one-way fare is 82€ ($107). For train information and schedules, call tel. 36-35, or visit www.voyages-sncf.com. The bus station is at rue Ste-Felicité (no street number; tel. 04-66-29-52-00), behind the train station. Bus information is found at a kiosk in the train station open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 2:15pm, and 3 to 6pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday. If you're driving, take A7 south from Lyon to the town of Orange and connect to A9 into Nîmes.
