- Each May, over 100,000 people in Nuremberg turn into night-owls to participate in Blaue Nacht, or Blue Night. This special cultural event is the city of Nuremberg's traditional all-nighter, when many of Nuremberg's museums, churches and other cultural landmarks and institutions stay open until the wee hours of the morning and the inner city center is filled with music, performances and art and light installations.
