Kaimuki/Kapahulu
What Kaimuki lacks in activity, neighboring Kapahulu certainly makes up for. Kaimuki is mostly a quiet residential neighborhood on the inland foot of Diamond Head crater. Some of the islands best restaurants and shops are located along Waialae Avenue. The area on both sides of Kapahulu Avenue is quickly shaping up to be one of Oahu's hottest, up-and-coming neighborhoods with stores, restaurants, and one of the largest Safeway supermarkets in the nation.
