  • NileGuide Expert tip:

There's an underground tunnel running from across the street to the cove, about directly across from the cove.

  • Description:

    • A beautiful white sandy cove, what more could you ask for on your Hawaiian vacation? Located on the east side of Oahu, aptly named since it's very close to the Halona Blowhole, the cove is fun, romantic, dreamy, and a great place to get sun. When the waves are very calm, usually in the summer, it is a wonderful place to swim. When it's a little bigger you may see locals body boarding, and when it's big - it's extremely dangerous so don't swim there! Either way is a lovely place to see and sun and take photos of.

Park at the Halona Blowhole a little over a mile past Hanauma Bay, you'll see the blowhole sign. Head down the short boulder steps near the road and head down. You'll see the cove. Don't forget your camera.
