Description:
- This historical landmark was named after a struggling writer with a wicked past. The building dates back to 1890 and served as a lighthouse for many years. Today it is a festive restaurant and bar that offers great views of the estuary and the Oakland skyline as well as great service. The upper deck pub offers over 60 imported and domestic beers, outdoor seating, and a wine list honored by the Wine Spectator magazine. The menu features Fresh Clam Angel Hair Pasta, Blackened Red Snapper, and Caesar Salads. The award-winning wine list is very extensive.
