The Terrace Room at the Lake Merritt Hotel

  • Description:

    • We are Oakland's premier lake front restaurant, set in a 1920s art deco supper club with panoramic view of Lake Merritt. Executive Chef Brandon Peacock has created a familiar American bistro with sophisticated updates. Look to "Mix and Match" your way through the menu by choosing from traditional favorites like roast chicken, smoked tri-tip or line-caught crispy salmon, then match them with any of the daily side dishes. Or you can go the more traditional route and try the numerous daily specials that are inspired by the freshest local ingredients. Our philosophy is "Local First" we make every effort to use local organic farms for all our produce and dairy. Our beef is from the north coast and our seafood is always from sustainable sources. We look forward to serving you in The Terrace Room.
