  • The Best of NileGuide
  • Oaxaca has everything: beautiful colonial buildings, some of the most important pre-hispanic sites in Mexico, delicious food and great people. You can't get tired of this city and there is always something new to do. If you like art, Oaxaca has important contemporary art galleries as well as beautiful colonial and pre-Hispanic museums. If you like pyramids, Monte Alban and Mitla are two sites you can't miss. This is the heart of the Zapotec culture, and both sites are unique in Mexico. You like to eat? Then you came to the right place, some of the dishes recognized worldwide as Mexican Cuisine are actually from Oaxaca. As for churches and colonial buildings, this city also have them. The green stone the buildings are made of, can only be seen in Oaxaca, and it marvels both Mexicans and foreigners for its beautiful color. So, as you can see, Oaxaca has something for everybody. But you might wanna see everything anyway, it's all beautiful and unique.
