Description:

  • The new owner, Andrew Peterson, brought in cookbook author David Hoyer to create new dishes for the restaurant. The menu has an obvious American touch and includes things Mexicans wouldn't dream of -- vegetables served as a side to mole, a sope buried under melted cheese, a caldo tlalpeño without garbanzos. Setting that aside, it's apparent that they're investing a lot of effort in the food and service. The vegetables were tender and cooked well, and the salads were fresh.
