Description:

  • This restaurant specializes in moles. They even serve a small sampler (mole combinado), or you can try mole in another form, as enmoladas, or with chilaquiles. I especially like the negro and the rojo moles. The table sauces are good, too. Besides that, you can try a couple of other local dishes, such as the filete al mezcal), but I would avoid the botana oaxaqueña (not just here, but in any local restaurant). There's a medium-size dining room as you enter, a couple of tables on the way to the kitchen, and a rooftop terrace that works well for dining in the evening.
