Description:

  • If the weather's nice, you can enjoy dining outdoors in Marco Polo's shaded patio. The ceviche tostadas or the seafood cocktails are great starters (if you like your cocktail less tomato-y, tell the waiter you want it a la marinera). The specialty is the oven-baked fish (whole or filet), prepared several ways -- I like their basic method, with just a chile guajillo marinade. For dessert, try the baked bananas. Marco Polo is just north of the central downtown area; it fronts the park known as Paseo Juárez.
