Description:

In 1818 Benito Juárez Garcia came to Oaxaca City from Guelatao to be a servant boy, and stayed in this house. 40 years later, he would became the first ever  full-blooded indigenous President of Mexico, and the first one without a military background.
In 1974 it became a museum, and though it doesn't have any of his personal effects, it is a typical 19th-century house with some period furniture and an old bookbinding workshop.
