Omaha Public Library - South Omaha Branch

Description:

  • Originally a Carnegie Library, it was only established as The Omaha Public Library - South Omaha Branch in 1904 at another location. The new building was built in 1954, and the library at the current location was only built in June of 2008. The South Omaha Branch has the largest collection in Spanish in the Omaha Public Library System. The library book-drop is at the south side of the building. Regular clubs and events like the South Omaha Library Adult Book Club are available for the public to join so do call in. Days and timings during the Metro Quarter Break vary, so do check their website.
