Picnics, Parks & Gardens in Orange County

Americans like the great outdoors and, consequently, Orange County has parkland in abundance. And a lot of this is true wilderness, with park explorers sharing the semi-arid hills with mountain lions and rattlesnakes. If you prefer a reduced risk of lions, there are parks for you too. There are also parks with views and ones that are all beach. And there are mountains, with snow-capped peaks in winter, only a couple of hours drive away. Why would you go anywhere else?
