Orlando Ballet

Description:

• Formerly called Southern Ballet Theatre, and celebrating their 35th season, this troupe stages traditional shows such as the Nutcracker, Don Quixote, and Romeo and Juliet among others, using guest artists to augment local talent. There has been a resurgence of interest in the ballet here in recent years, but performances rarely sell out. The season runs from October to May. Performances feature the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and are staged at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre.
