  • When it comes to entertainment, Orlando totally rocks. There are about a dozen world-class, live shows all within a 20-mile radius. From live theater to zany music acts, the options are ample and diverse. Locals and visitors alike absolutely love the zany theatrics of the Blue Man Group, located at Universal CityWalk. This mix of stunts and tricks, backed up by a stellar rock soundtrack, will delight and surprise guests of all ages. For those folks who love dinner theater, Orlando has a great assortment including Sleuths Mystery Dinner Theatre on International Drive as well as the Makahiki Luau Dinner & Show at SeaWorld. For live comedy, choose either SAK Comedy Lab or the Orlando Improv. At SAK, improvisational teams throw together clever skits plucked from their imaginations while the Orlando Improv showcases some of the country's best stand-up comics. For traditional theater, check out the schedule for the Orlando Shakespeare Theater, which unlike its name suggests, features theatrical performances from many plays, including Shakespeare's, of course. Each May, Orlando's actors join up to produce Fringe Festival where dozens of wacky performances are showcased. Finally, at the Bob Carr and the Amway Center, a steady line-up of Broadway musicals, concerts, symphonies and ballets keep the cultural calendar full.
