John Rivers' passion for barbecue grew as he organized barbecue fundraisers for different charities and local needs. Eventually, the demand for his legendary sweet and tangy with a smoke spice sauce became overwhelming prompting the opening of the first 4Rivers Smokehouse in Winter Park. Now Rivers serves a line of guests every night at his restaurant.
