• On a scorching summer day when you just don't feel like driving to the coast to get a reprieve from the sweltering heat, Buena Visa Water Sports may be the perfect solution. Located on the edge of pristine Lake Bryan, this facility offers a wide variety of recreational water sports without the choppy water or the crowds. One option is to rent a Seadoo, which comfortably fits two adult riders. The cost is about $50 per half hour. Chartering a competition ski boat and planning to water-ski, wakeboard, or kneeboard is also a great option. Water-skiing lessons are available for beginners and tubing is available for those who don't wish to ski at all. Prices include gas and a driver.
  
  On the shores of this private, natural spring fed lake, you'll find a sandy beach lined with palm trees. Hammocks and beach chairs are available for lounging and there's beach volleyball onsite too. Consider bringing a picnic lunch and hanging out for a few hours. The scenery is beautiful and has provided the setting for many wedding ceremonies and receptions. Like a private haven, you'll begin to feel as though you've traveled a long way outside the city when in reality, you are only about a quarter mile from I-4.
