• The New Course, like all those at Grand Cypress, is a Jack Nicklaus design. Nicklaus took an open piece of ground and crafted a course with an unmistakable links feel. This visually dramatic course has an abundance of slopes and rolls. There are also some deep pot bunkers and some double greens. There is very little water and scarcely a tree in sight. The par-5s are not at all long. Two of them are under 500 yards from the Blue tees. There are three long par-4s, but the par-3s are a very comfortable length of 147 to 185 yards from the White tees. This is a semi-private golf course. Soft spikes only.
