Description:
- Located northeast of Orlando and south of Daytona Beach in the Lighthouse Point Park of Ponce Inlet, the Marine Science Center has a lot to offer its visitors. The facility includes several areas to explore including a sea bird rehabilitation sanctuary, a sea turtle rehabilitation center plus a nature trail, boardwalk and a bird observation tower that provide amazing views of the native wildlife of the area. The Marine Science Center has an abundance of interactive exhibits, an artificial coral reef aquarium and a number of different programs offered during the year. A gift shop on-site provides a variety of items to choose from including souvenirs, education material and unique marine life merchandise. -Diane Dilov-Schultheis
