Few people realize that you can create a fabulous three-day vacation without ever having to leave Winter Park, the sophisticated suburb just north of downtown Orlando. Known for its brick-lined streets and chic boutiques, Winter Park also boasts a bevy of excellent restaurants, cultural corridors and relaxing things to do.
Day 2 - Orlando
Park your car because you won't need it for one second of this jam-packed day. Nosh your way through the legendary Winter Park Farmer's Market which opens at 7am. Once you've perused the yummy stalls to your satisfaction, head over to Briar Patch for a proper sit-down breakfast featuring the best pancakes on Park Ave. Your newly found zest will aid you in your quest for just the right thing in one or many of the trendy Park Ave boutiques before you travel west on New England Avenue to chill in Park Ave's neighboring district, Hannibal Square where more shopping and strolling awaits. Be sure to grab lunch at Hot Olives, which has one of the best patios in the city. Head back to the 'Square' for a lovely french dinner at Chez Vincent before settling into the Wine Room for DIY wine sampling of more than a hundred different bottles.
